12-month renewal to add a second Videk DocuVision

The contract renews a 12-month service agreement to expand the Videk DocuVision Document Inspection and Data Integrity System on each of the two Social Security Number Card Printer lines, adding a second system to capture and verify the preprinted serial number on the back of each card during production. This enhancement complements the existing system, which already scans and reads Social Security Numbers from the front of the cards, enabling full real-time auditing and lifecycle control of all documents. The addition ensures comprehensive data integrity at every stage of printing, strengthening the agency’s ability to monitor, track, and protect the security and accuracy of Social Security Cards. Maintenance for the newly installed cameras and systems will be covered under the existing Videk maintenance contract without incurring any additional costs. The agreement is managed by the Social Security Administration’s Office of Acquisition and Grants out of Baltimore, Maryland, with Abel A. Alfonso as the primary point of contact.
