The USDA Forest Service is soliciting bids for the Thompson Meadow Corral project located on the Mi-Wok Ranger District of the Stanislaus National Forest in Sonora, California. The project entails the design, material procurement, and construction of a six rail steel corral intended for holding, loading, and shipping cattle adjacent to Road 2N13. While a continuous fence design is suggested, other design types will be considered. This opportunity is designated as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Award decisions will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures based on the best value to the government, evaluating price alongside non-price factors such as technical acceptability and past performance. Because no government-led site visits are provided, offerors are expected to inspect the site independently to determine all local conditions affecting performance costs. Inquiries regarding the project must be submitted to the designated points of contact, and the final selection will be based on the overall quality and cost-effectiveness of the proposal.
