The Federal Bureau of Prisons, FCC Florence, intends to issue a single-award purchase order for the acquisition of (220) EA, 12V, batteries, 350 Watt minimum, 3 Year Full-Replacement Warranty, for UPS back up system. **Warranty shall NOT be pro-rated during the first 3 years. Shipping and handling costs for replacing a defective battery in first 3 years of warranty must be included by the offeror or manufacturer.** Please be advised this is a NEW Solicitation. For consideration on this acquisition, all offerors MUST provide a quote following the listed instructions in the solicitation. Any quote from a previous solicitation Will NOT be evaulated for this solictation. A written confirmation of warranty period and prepaid shipping for defective batteries shall be confirmed via email during submission of offer. Battery installation is not required, nor requested. This acquisition has been Set-Aside for SMALL BUSINESS ONLY. All offerors shall have an "Active" status and registered in the System for Award Management, SAM.gov, prior to the closing of this solicitation. The evaluation criteria for award will be Lowest Price Technically Acceptable, (LPTA), and the acquisition shall be "Meet or Exceed" to the supplied specifications. **This acquisition is open to any battery manufacturer which meets or exceeds the specification.** All offers shall include a manufacturer's specification/cut sheet with the offer. All offers shall fully meet the Government requirement, and determination of acceptable offers will be made by the Government Subject Matter Expert. Offeror's shall use the supplied Request for Quote (RFQ) form that is attached this solicitation. All terms, conditions, and provisions included in the solicitation will be applicable to the purchase order. Quote must be signed by the offeror at the time of submission. (See Page 2 of attached RFQ form) **Any offeror who fails to provide a specification sheet for a quoted item at the time of submission may be eliminated from the competitive range and deemed "Unresponsive".** Offerors shall utilize electronic mail (email) for submission of offers. All questions regarding the requirement or solicitation shall be submitted in writing to the Primary Point of Contact designated in the solicitation.
