This contract involves the procurement of MT28 MK 121 Rocket Motors for the Department of Defense, specifically managed by the Navsup Weapon Systems Support Mech. The current agreement, held by Rockwell Collins, Inc. under contract N0010420PK033, is valued at 165,384 dollars with a firm fixed price structure and a potential end date of October 30, 2026. There is a medium confidence prediction that this opportunity will be a recompete. The scope of work includes the delivery of nine units under NSN 1377-01-242-8859, adhering to specific NAVAIR drawings and contractor data requirements. Because the items contain explosives, the acquisition is subject to strict safety precautions, including a pre-award safety survey and compliance with DFARS 252.223-7002. While the government initially intended to negotiate with a single source, the opportunity remains open for responsible sources to submit capability statements.
