The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) Contracting Office intends to issue a sole source award to Austin Powder Company, 3410 Rocky Hollow Road, Blountsville, AL 35031 for delivery of Austinite 15 to produce a uniform, reproductive pressure wave. This particular blend has been used in past experiments and should be used on the current project to ensure data compatibility with previous research efforts. The only company that can supply Austinite 15 is the Austin Powder Company. The intent of this procurement is to award based on sole source requirement.
