The U.S. Surface Forces Logistics Center, acting for the Department of Homeland Security, intends to award a contract for the procurement of 14 Reverse Osmosis repair kits. These kits are specifically designated for the United States Coast Guard's WMEC A&B class 210 vessels across various locations. The acquisition is being conducted under Other Than Full and Open Competition Requirements because Village Marine Tech is the proprietary source for the equipment, holding all necessary technical documentation, drawings, part numbers, and embedded firmware. Due to the proprietary nature of the technology, the government intends to negotiate solely with authorized distributors of Village Marine Tech to ensure operational compatibility. No drawings or specifications are available from the agency. Interested parties are directed to monitor Fedbizops.gov for updates, and inquiries may be directed to Contract Specialist Angel C. Rhone.
