Description: THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS MADE TO REQUEST FINAL COMMENTS ON VERSION 2 OF THE DRAFT SOLICITATION. OC-ALC is planning to release RFP FA8105-05-R-0014 for KC-135 PDM on Aug 19 of 2005. The solicitation will be a FAR Part 12 Hybrid. Particular attention should be paid to the clauses in Section H, the Addendums and the clauses pertaining to Performance Based Payments. In addtion, an License and Non-Disclosure Agreement will have to be signed to access Boeing drawings for the competition. Interested contractors should review Addendums 7 and 8 for details concerning the license and access to the Air Force JEDMICS drawing database. Any questions regarding the RFP and any attachments to the RFP should be posted to the Questions & Answers (Q&A) database on web site: http://wwwext.tinker.af.mil/pk/CKC-135/CKC-135.htm. TOs and additional data will be provided in a Technical Library located at Bldg 4008, Room 101. The building is located on 59th Street, East of Douglas Blvd. A map can be requested from Mark Bernier. The Government plans to contract for a Basic period of five years and five one year Option periods with range quantities for each year.
