INTRODUCTION:
This is a Sources Sought issued for conducting market research and identifying potential sources. This is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quote (RFQ), or an Invitation for Bid (IFB). No solicitation is being issued at this time, and this notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract.
The purpose of this notice is to identify potential vendors, including small businesses, capable of providing one (1) 15 person shuttle bus as described below.
15 person shuttle bus with the following characteristics:
Capacity - 15 persons total (14 passengers plus 1 driver).
Climate Control - Air conditioning system capable of cooling the entire vehicle. The vehicle must be equipped with an engine-driven, dual-compressor auxiliary air conditioning system to ensure adequate cooling.
Accessibility - Standard access (wheelchair lift and ADA-compliant floor plan are not required).
Performance/Chassis - Configured for regular travel on standard highways.
Towing Capacity - The vehicle must meet standard towing capacity requirements for its vehicle class.
Towing Equipment - A factory-installed, integrated trailer brake controller must be included in the towing package.
