The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) McKean, Bradford, Pennsylvania, herein issues solicitation 15B20926Q00000010 for the requirements of: HOT WATER BOOSTER.
The scope of work is as follows.
To replace existing water to water booster with a vertical, double wall, compact 40 gpm water to water indirect heater. This is a supply purchase only. Labor will be provided by the Bureau of Prisons (BOP) staff.
1. The Vendor shall supply a water-to-water booster to FCI McKean, capable of bringing domestic water from 40 to 140 degrees with 190 degree incoming boiler water with the following specifications. High capacity minimum of 40 gpm water flow with a 3" domestic cold water inlet and 2 " hot water outlet. Water to Water Indirect Heater - Copper- Nickel shell with Naval Brass tube sheet - Double wall tube bundle construction - Complete package (4 piping connections) - Electronic 3 Way Control Valve mounted - domestic Circulation pump mounted. Maximum height with clearances not to exceed 90 inches.
2. Currently FCI McKean has Patterson -Kelley storage water heater Model : 200-1-6P. 400 - gallon storage capacity . Domestic water 132 GPH with an in let temp of 40 , o u t l e t temp 120 . This is a supply purchase ONLY.

This solicitation is restricted, 100% Small Business. Deliveries will be made to the FCI McKean Warehouse, 6975 Route 59, Lewis Run, PA 16738, 15 Miles South of Bradford, PA. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government will award to the responsible offerors whose bid, conforming to the solicitation, are considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with both past performance and price considered. The solicitation will be available APRIL 1, 2026 at 12:00 PM EST and will be posted to the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website: www.sam.gov/.
