As a public work under California Labor Code, the project mandates strict adherence to prevailing wage requirements, and all contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations. Bidders are required to hold a valid California Class A or C10 contractor’s license and demonstrate a minimum of five years of medium-voltage electrical experience, supported by three comparable project references. A mandatory pre-bid job walk must be attended by no more than two representatives per company, with registration due by August 17, 2026.
