This agreement was issued under the Federal Acquisition Regulation authority permitting contracting with only one responsible source when no other supplies or services can meet agency needs. The BOA has an anticipated ceiling value of $40 million and spans a five-year ordering period during which it is expected to cover approximately 261 repair tasks for various components of the TSS, including parts such as desiccant assemblies, cable assemblies, coherent radar equipment, electronic housings, turrets, boresighting units, power supplies, and FLIR assemblies. The government intends to continue this unpriced BOA while negotiating pricing as it gathers additional repair history.
