MEMORANDUM FOR: ALL POTENTIAL SOURCES FROM: WR-ALC/LBKA 265 Ocmulgee Ct Robins AFB, GA 31098-1647 SUBJECT: Solicitation for Information or Planning Purposes-Avionics in support of C-130 B model for the country of Colombia 1. SOLICITATION FOR PLANNING PURPOSES, FAR 52.215-3 (APR 1984)(a) The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this solicitation or to otherwise pay for the information solicited except as an allowable cost under other contracts as provided in subsection 31.205-18, Bid and Proposal (BCI) cost, of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. (b) Although proposal and offeror are used in this Request for Information (RFI), your response will be treated as information only. It shall not be used as a proposal. (c) This solicitation is issued for the purposes of obtaining budgetary cost information (BCI) for the following avionics components: 1. 2 each VOR, 51RV-4B, 2 each ADF, 51Y-72, 2 each DME 860E-5, 2 each TRANSPONDER, 621-6A, 2 each COMPASS, C-12, 1 each RADAR, RDR-1400C, 2 each, GPS, KLN-90B, 2 each INS, LTN-92, 1 each RDR ALT, ALT-55, 1 each EGPWS, MARK VI, 1 each TCAS, TCAS II, 1 each HF RADIO, HF-9000, 2 each VHF/AM, 618M-5, 1 each VHF/FM, PRC-930, 1 each UHF, ARC-164, 1 each INTERCOM, AIC-18, 1 each AUTO PILOT, AP-105, 1 each FLIGHT DIRECTOR, FD-109. 2. Provide a team to perform avionics upgrade for FMS customer in country (Colombia). 3. Provide a team to perform avionics upgrade for FMS customer in the contractor's facility. 2. Please note that funding is not available for this effort. At this point, we have only a need for budgetary information. Your acceptance of this effort is entirely at your discretion.
