This contract, issued by the Navsup Weapon Systems Support under solicitation SPRPA112QY615, is for the procurement of seven Control Indicator A units (NSN 7R-1680-015289926-CB) with delivery terms set as FOB Origin. Due to the flight critical nature of the item and the specialized engineering and manufacturing knowledge required, the government is seeking acquisition from approved sources who possess essential technical data and design capabilities not economically available to the government. The government intends to negotiate with a single source under FAR 6.302-1, as the time required to qualify new sources would typically delay critical awards. Any entity not previously approved must submit comprehensive documentation via the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Information Brochures to be considered. Failure to provide the required data will result in the proposal being excluded from award consideration.
