This contract pertains to the procurement of 18 units of a front panel assembly, identified by NSN 1R-1680-015322869-V2 and TDP version 001, with delivery terms specified as FOB origin. It is issued by Navsup Weapon Systems Support under the Department of the Navy and is managed out of Philadelphia, PA. Nevertheless, all interested parties are encouraged to express interest or submit proposals, statements of capability, or quotations, which must be received within a specified timeframe (45 days, or 30 days if under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement) from the date of notice publication. Suppliers or manufacturers must meet certain qualification requirements by the time of award, as outlined in FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation provides information about where to obtain these requirements. The contract does not use FAR Part 12 commercial item acquisition procedures, though parties may propose commercial equivalents for consideration within 15 days. Technical documentation such as Military and Federal Specifications and Standards can be accessed primarily through the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP) in Philadelphia or online, though items like patterns and drawings are not held by DODSSP.
