The Product Manager Air Warrior and the United States Army Aeromedical Research Lab are seeking information regarding the availability and capabilities of commercial off the shelf and government off the shelf helmet mounted displays for aviation. This request for information is intended to assess current technology and does not constitute a solicitation for offers. Interested vendors must provide system specifications, measured performance data, completed qualification testing, and a self assessment of the Technology Readiness Level. For systems still under development, vendors are required to submit their current schedules and projected readiness levels. To supplement vendor data, the United States Army Aeromedical Research Lab will perform independent assessments on loaned hardware. These evaluations will focus on critical performance parameters including field of view, luminance range, contrast ratio, resolution, distortion, and physical eye relief. Responses should be directed to the designated programmatic and technical points of contact at Redstone Arsenal and the US Army Aeromedical Research Lab.
