This is a Notice of Intent to make a Sole Source award under the authority of FAR 13.501 to Coastal Aircraft Parts, 2999 NW 115th Terrace, Sunrise, FL 33323 for Oregon Aero Pilot Seat Cushions with product number 34H60BOW and 31H60012. This will be the only notice of the Government's intent to solicit and negotiate with only one source in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 Other Than Full and Open Competition. Firms having the ability to provide this service should notify Barbara A. Sickler in writing via e-mail at barbara.a.sickler.mil@mail.mil by 2:00 P.M. MST on 19 September 2013. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
