FA8620-05-G-3028 0047 Predator Receive Terminals: This is a pre-solicitation synopsis. The Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC), Predator Aeronautical Systems Group (658 AESG) intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to General Atomics-Aeronautical Systems Inc. (GA-ASI) to provide Predator Receive Terminals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. GA-ASI is the sole source designer, developer and manufacturer of the Predator Receive Terminal and is the only firm that possesses the necessary knowledge, experience and technical data required to perform this effort. The government does not own the data rights for the system. Therefore to avoid duplication of costs, the government intends to award the effort pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1.
