Full Description

This notice is amended as follows: The United States Special Operations Command, Technology Applications Contracting Office, has a requirement for a minimum of three and a maximum of 100 Active Matrix Liquid Crystal Displays (AMLCD) repairs plus a procurement of a minimum of 25 and a maximum of 150 screen glass, PN:640-120-11-500. The Government anticipates awarding an Indefinite Deliver-Indefinite Quantity fixed price contract to L-3 Communications, Display Systems, 1355 Bluegrass Lakes Parkway, Alpharetta, GA 30004 over a five-year ordering period. L-3 is the only known source for the repair of the AMLCD and the purchase of the specific screen glass (to be used as Government Furnished Equipment for the repairs). L-3 is the only known source that can adequately substantiate the component and system airworthiness qualification associated with this effort. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A written solicitation will not be issued. The due date for quotes is 15 November 2007, no later than 2:00PMest. Quotes will only be accepted via e-mail to shirley.powell@conus.army.mil. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-20. The associated NAICS code for this acquisition is 336413 and small business standard of 1000 employees. The delivery location will be the contractor's facility. The delivery schedule will be determined prior to award. FOB and Acceptance/Inspection is at origin by a Government quality assurance representative (QAR).
