Full Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A written solicitation will not be issued. This notice is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The due date for quote submission is 26 November 2007 and no later than 12:00 noon (EST). Quotes must be submitted via e-mail to (shirley.powell@conus.army.mil). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-20. The associated NAICS code for this acquisition is 336413 and small business standard is 1000 employees. The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Technology Applications Contracting Office, has a requirement for upgrading one each interconnect control unit (ICU), PN 599-3100-006 to ICU PN 599-3100-017 and upgrading five each control audio panels (CAPs), PN 599-1200-001 to CAP PN 599-1200-003. The requested delivery schedule is five months after receipt of award. The upgraded units and panels shall be delivered to Commander, 160th SOAR (A), Attn: AOAV-SI, Linder 270-798-1836, 7244 Nightstalker Way, Ft. Campbell, KY 42223, Marked for Digital ICS Program. FOB and Acceptance/Inspection is at origin by a Government quality assurance representative (QAR). The Government intends to award this effort on a sole source basis to Telephonics Corporation, 815 Broad Hollow Road, Farmingdale, NY 11735-3904. Telephonics is the original equipment manufacturer and owns all proprietary rights to the design drawings, manufacturing process and software configuration.
