Full Description

The California Army National Guard has a requirement to purchase shoring stand trestles and double shoring stand trestles for supporting Blackhawk aircraft when the landing gear has been removed. This is a notice of intent to award a contract on a sole source basis to Spika Welding & Manufacturing for the following name brand items, manufactured by Spika Welding & Manufacturing, Inc, a small business: Quantity (54) SWM-Blackhawk Shoring Stands, item no. SWM-BSS6061; and quantity (18) SWM-BH Double Shoring Stands, item no. SWM-BSS379-398. The delivery is to be made to the 1106th TASMG, 5168 E. Dakota Ave, Fresno, CA zip 93727-7404. This is not a request for an equivalent item, as these stands are currently in use at the 1106th TASMG facility and additional stands must be interchangeable with the existing stands that are manufactured by Spika Welding & Manufacturing. This is not a request for competitive quotes. The following FAR and DFAR clauses are hereby incorporated into this notice: 52.204-7 System for Award Management; 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items; 52.233-3 Protest After Award; 52.233-4 Applicable Law for Breach of Contract Claim; 52.249-2 Termination for the Convenience of the Government; 52.249-8 Default; 52.252-2 Clauses Incorporated by Reference; 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items; 252.225-7001 Buy American Act and Balance of Payments Program; 252.232-7003 Electronic Submission of Payment Requests and Receiving Reports. This is not a request for quotes or proposals. The determination not to compete this contract action is solely at the discretion of the Government.
