Full Description

The 184th Wing Kansas Air National Guard McConnell AFB, Ks, intends to issue a sole source award to IDSC Holdings (Snap-On Industrial, for commercial items and services for the upgrade of our Snap-on Level 5 ATC Tool Box Hardware and Software. This announcement constitutes the only notice. This acquisition is for the 184th Logistics Readiness Squadron. The acquisition consists of the purchase of hardware, software and services to upgrade the current computer systems on the existing ATC Tool Boxes. This will allow our current Snap-On ATC Tool boxes to operate properly. Per the letter from IDSC Holdings (Snap-On Industrial), "This system is protected by patents held by Snap-on and is not available to other companies to market or sell." The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 for this proposed contract action. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting clear evidence of their capability to provide/perform. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Oral communications are not acceptable. A written solicitation is not available. All responses must be received no later than 8:00AM CST, 11 September 2019 to be considered by the Government. Responses may be emailed to gary.l.owens36.civ@mail.mil. The Government does not intend to pay for information provided. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The value of this acquisition is below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold. This is a simplified acquisition.
