This project would replace the 240ft 6-in watermain (highlighted in yellow on the picture to the right, with new eight-inch connection, supplied through a fire-rated compound meter, to the municipal watermain along Nautilus Street.
This project would also provide an isolation valve in the water supply line to the NE of the MSST Boathouse. Currently, there is no way to segregate this system, if any maintenance is needed on this line, the entire station would lose water service via isolation from a cut-off valve further up Nautilus Street.
