Contract Overview
Solicitation details, issuing organization, response deadlines, documents, and interested companies for this government contract opportunity.
AI Contract Overview
The contract seeks a qualified Internet Service Provider (ISP) to deliver a dedicated, symmetrical 20 Mbps fiber internet connection to the CDC Guinea office located within the US Embassy in Conakry. This connection will serve approximately six personnel and is intended to enable reliable access to CDC cloud services, including the Microsoft Office 365 suite, CDC intranet, and remote technical support from CDC headquarters in the U.S. The ISP must provide non-shared fiber connectivity with four static public IP addresses, no network address translation, unfiltered internet access supporting all IP protocols, and allowance for customer-installed VPN encryption. Equipment necessary for the link’s establishment and maintenance must be supplied by the contractor, and Huawei or ZTE products are expressly prohibited from inclusion due to U.S. government restrictions. The scope includes conducting thorough site surveys and technical meetings to outline a turnkey solution with detailed cost proposals covering the base year plus three option years—each reflecting potential cost reductions based on market bandwidth trends. Performance will be measured by compliance with the Statement of Work, technical accuracy, and professional installation standards. A Service Level Agreement (SLA) must be included, featuring quarterly performance reviews. The contractor will maintain ongoing communication with the designated CDC Guinea IT representative throughout the project to manage timelines, address potential issues, and verify equipment needs. Upon contract award, a comprehensive project work plan and timeline are required, alongside documentation of past similar project experience to support bid evaluation.
