Resolver, ElectricalThe Government is seeking qualified suppliers for the electrical resolver identified by NSN 5990-01-462-9228, currently approved for procurement only from Honeywell International, Inc. with CAGE code 08815 and part number 12976452. This item is designated under AMC/AMSC “3/C,” meaning it requires engineering source approval due to proprietary design capability, manufacturing expertise, and technical data held exclusively by the approved source, which are essential to maintaining part quality and are not economically available to the Government. Any company seeking to qualify as an alternate source must submit a complete Source Approval Request (SAR) package through DLA Land and Maritime’s Alternate Offer/Source Approval Program, demonstrating that their product matches or exceeds the OEM’s technical, quality, and performance standards. The solicitation is in the sources-sought phase under solicitation number 7017047169, with responses required by August 3, 2026, and all submissions must be directed to Sarah Harmon at sarah.harmon@dla.mil. The item is classified under NAICS code 335312 and may be acquired as a commercial item under FAR Part 12 or through negotiated procurement under FAR Part 15, with a preference for a Firm Fixed Price contract structure. Packaging must comply with ASTM D 3951, and RFID compliance is required for supply chain visibility. The Government prefers F.O.B. Origin delivery terms, and the place of performance and payment address is the DLA Land and Maritime office in Columbus, Ohio.
