AI Contract Overview
The contract involves the procurement and installation of two Barmesa 208 Volt 7.5HP sewage pumps at Middle Bass Island State Park in Ohio. The scope of work includes not only the supply of the pumps but also their installation, wiring, and connection to the existing electrical panel. The project emphasizes prompt completion, with the contractor expected to begin work as soon as possible. Prior to submitting a bid, potential vendors are encouraged to conduct a site visit, coordinated through the park manager, to familiarize themselves with the site conditions and project requirements. Bidders must demonstrate relevant experience by providing examples of similar completed projects, including photographs and contact details, and participate in a pre-award meeting with Ohio Department of Natural Resources (DNR) staff to ensure mutual understanding of the scope and materials. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on the total calculated bid amount, which involves multiplying unit costs by estimated usage and summing these totals. Bidders are required to submit comprehensive bids covering all items, as partial bids may disqualify them. The selected contractor must sign an addendum to the bid or a personal services agreement. Invoicing must adhere to strict guidelines, including submitting invoices directly to Ohio Shared Services via email, fax, or mail, with all necessary details such as purchase order number, service dates, itemized charges, and a complete address. The contract is set within a size range of $15,000 to $30,000, and all work must be completed before June 30 of the specified year. Additionally, contractors must complete an Affirmation and Disclosure Form confirming understanding of state policies on offshore services, data location restrictions, and prohibitions on purchasing from Russian entities, ensuring compliance with executive orders and state regulations.
