This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is N40442-08-T-4006, and it is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-11. This is not a small business set-aside. NAICS 423840 does not apply. The Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program is not applicable. Military Sealift Fleet Support Command (MSFSC), San Diego, CA intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order for the following parts for a BP Skid Proportioning Assembly sliding block drive assembly, AFFF Fire Fighting Skid for newly designed Helicopter Shelter, contract line item number (CLIN) 0001: which will include, Marine Skid Mounted Balanced Pressure Proportioning System (with associated parts) , Balanced Pressure Proportioning System Notes, and Operating and Maintenance Manual. . FOB Origin from contractor facility, Kidde Fire Fighting, Inc. 150 Gordon Drive, Exton, PA 19341-0695 Contractor to provide one quote which includes delivery to San Diego and another quote which provides Required Delivery Date: ASAP.
