Full Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Annex proposes to contract for machining services to finish machine one hundred eighty-eight (188) catapult base plates, in accordance with details and requirements of Lakehurst DWG 8002-626584, REV B. Raw material, (inconel clad steel) will be furnished by NNSY. Machined plates shall be delivered, FOB Destination , to Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA 23709-5000. Response date for submission of offers will be established in the written solicitation. This requirement is being handled utilizing SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES as set forth in FAR PART 13. and authorized in FAR PART 13.5, TEST PROGRAM FOR CERTAIN COMMERCIAL PRODUCTS. This requirement is set aside for Small Business under NAICS Code 332710 with a Small Business Standard of 500 employees. IMPORTANT NOTICE: DFAR 252.204-7004 REQUIRED CENTRAL REGISTRATION (CCR) applies. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information regarding CCR may be found at www.ccr.gov. Requests for the solicitation package will be accepted via mail and e-mail only.
