2021 NASA TEAMS ENGAGING AFFILIATED MUSEUMS AND INFORMAL INSTITUTIONS (2021 TEAM II NOFO)

Section 1.1 Background: Updated description of NASA’s Next Gen STEM program. Section 1.3: Information about the NASA Strategic Goal and Objective relevant to education was updated according to the new NASA 2022 Strategic Plan. Section 1.4: Updated description to reflect that NASA’s new data management system is NASA STEM Gateway, rather than OEPM. Section 1.5: List of Mission Directorates driving the research priorities for OSTEM program was updated to reflect HEOMD reorganization. Section 1.6: The 2021 TEAM II NOFO NSPIRES landing page now includes Program Element Appendix K. Section 1.8: Guidance added that the NASA Guidebook for Proposers is updated frequently and that links to it have been updated throughout the solicitation to the most recent (2022) version. Table 1: Updated to include Program Element Appendix K, marked past Program Elements closed. Section 2.4: Added context regarding frequency of TEAM II opportunities, and the conditions under which additional selections could be made or existing awards augmented. Section 2.6: Added language clarifying the negotiated indirect cost rate, and adding guidance with regards to team member travel and supplies and services from non-US sources. Section 3.1: Addition of Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion text, as required by NASA’s Grant and Cooperative Agreement Manual (2022) Table 2: Clarified that a state, local, or federally-recognized tribal government agency must also be an IEI or have an embedded IEI to be eligible to propose.
