2022 HHS/ACF/GCS Industry Day - Wednesday, November 16, 2022 The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Administration for Children and Families (ACF), Office of Government Contracting Service (GCS) will host an Industry Day on Wednesday, November 16, 2022. The event will be held in person at the ACF Headquarters in Washington, D.C. with a virtual option. Through this Industry Day, GCS seeks to expand the industrial base of vendors able to support ACF emergency operations in both the Office of Human Services Emergency Preparedness and Response (OHSPEPR) and the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR). Four General Guiding Principles Maintain focus on and enhance the well-being of children and families Execute contracts in partnership with providers, setting clear expectations Increase the pool of contractors submitting quality proposals to ACF Leverage lessons learned from similar efforts across other government agencies Capture lessons from early performance to inform longer-term procurement strategies The purpose of the Industry Day is to present the industry with the background, high-level requirements and discussion of the Agency's goals, challenges, and to solicit industry feedback. The agenda will include providing industry with an overview of ORR's and OHSPEPR's mission and objectives, as well as a Small Business panel. Attendance: To attend, please use the link above. 3. Number of Participants: Two (2) attendees maximum for each company in person. There is also a limit of three virtual attendees per company. You must register with your desire to participate by November 4th, at 5 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST), with your official company email address.
