The Hudson River Valley Greenway (HRVG) invites you to submit your quotes for professional photography services for a variety of activities taking place as part of the 24th Annual Hudson River Valley Ramble between the dates of September 1 to September 30, 2024. Services to be Provided:Assignments will include attendance and professional photography to document a variety of events at varying locations during the Hudson River Valley Ramble between the dates of September 1 to September 30, 2024. Travel to and between events will be required. Please use state-mandated travel allowances including mileage, hotel, and per diem. The standard rate for personal vehicle mileage is $0.67. For full information, please visit: https://www.osc.ny.gov/state-agencies/advisories/travel-advisory/13-updated-mileage-ratesFor all information regarding meals and per diem, please visit: https://bsc.ogs.ny.gov/meals-lodging Ramble events to be photographed will be determined in conjunction with HRVG. Alternatives may be chosen due to weather or cancellation on the part of the event sponsor. Moderate walking, paddling, or hiking will be required for some events.Photographic files suitable for reproduction in print (PNG), as well as smaller resolution (JPEG) suitable for the web (100 dpi) shall be provided to the Greenway. Drone footage is required and will include both still and video. *Photos taken as part of this agreement will be the property of the Hudson River Valley Greenway and used in a variety of marketing promotions with credit given to the photographer.Where Services Will Be Provided:Three contracts will be awarded, based on county boundaries. These regions are:• The Lower Hudson Valley consists of Putnam, Rockland, and Westchester counties;• The Middle Hudson Valley consists of Orange, Dutchess, and Ulster counties; and• The Upper Hudson Valley consists of Saratoga, Washington, Albany, Rensselaer, Columbia, and Greene counites. Submissions for more than one region are acceptable. However, the applicant should clearly address how a significant number of events will be covered.
