NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received online by Whitpain Township via the PennBid Program (www.pennbid.net) for the 2024 Mermaid Park Soil Remediation, until Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 10:00 AM at which time they will be electronically opened. The Bids will be received for the following Contract: Mermaid Park Soil Remediation The contract involves the following: 1. Mobilization and Demobilization 2. Excavate and load mercury-impacted and arsenic-impacted soils. 3. Transport and dispose of mercury-impacted and arsenic-impacted soils. All proposals shall be submitted in accordance with INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS, paragraph 14- Bid Submission. A Certified Check or Bid Bond drawn to the order of Whitpain Township in the amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid must be submitted with the proposal as bid security. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is required to enter bids for this project. The pre-bid meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Whitpain Township Administration Building Public Meeting Room, 960 Wentz Road Blue Bell, PA 19422. Project Site Visit to follow meeting. Whitpain Township hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse any or all bids submitted; and reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. Except as otherwise provided by law, no Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) consecutive calendar days after the actual date of opening thereof or one hundred twenty (120) consecutive calendar days if the award is delayed by a required approval of another governmental agency, the sale of bonds or the award of a grant or grants.
