Solicitation 27-494DOT-FINAD-B-54569 is a rebid for the procurement of full-size 4-door 4x4 sport utility vehicles for the Illinois Department of Transportation. These vehicles are intended for transporting public officials and sensitive testing equipment, as well as towing message boards and flood pumps during emergency repair projects. To be considered responsive, bidders must provide vehicles meeting strict technical specifications, including a minimum 8-passenger seating capacity in a 2-3-3 configuration, a wheelbase of at least 120 inches, and an overall length of at least 210 inches. Powertrain requirements specify a V8 naturally aspirated or V6 turbocharged engine delivering at least 350 HP and 350 lb-ft of torque, with a requirement for Flexible Fuel or Hybrid Electric compatibility. Additionally, vehicles must have a minimum towing capacity of 8,000 lbs with a factory-installed Class IV hitch receiver and 4WD or AWD capabilities. No physical actual RFB amendment is issued.  Please contact Liz Palazzolo with any questions.   Addendum #2 on IonWave is tied to physical Addendum #1 to the RFB which is provided as an attachment.  The Addendum moves the bid opening from 2:00 P.M. on November 1, 2024 to 2:00 P.M. on November 06, 2024.  The Addendum also provides more information about the dealer-installed options.
