The District of Kent is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to prepare a Tree Master Plan for District-owned lands.The Tree Master Plan will provide a practical, implementation-focused roadmap to guide tree planting, protection, and long-term urban forest management in support of the District’s Climate Action Plan target of establishing 15,000 large native trees on District lands by 2050.The work will include background review, GIS and data assembly, tree inventory and field verification, stakeholder and community engagement, opportunity mapping, planting prioritization, recommended species and planting approaches, preliminary costing, implementation phasing, monitoring recommendations, and final reporting support for the District’s grant obligations.All work must be completed in accordance with the requirements, scope, deliverables, and timelines outlined in the Request for Proposals documents.
