The Charter School Associates consortium is seeking quotes for a comprehensive internet and SD-WAN solution to connect multiple schools and non-instructional facilities to a Virtual Data Center located in Reston, Virginia. The request includes internet connections for each site with speeds ranging from 200Mbps to over 1Gbps, along with a preference for managed or co-managed services and the rental of customer premise equipment, specifically suggesting Velocloud Edge840 devices. Vendors must provide pricing for month-to-month, one-year, and 36-month agreements, including all installation and configuration costs. Additionally, the consortium requires a virtual firewall service and managed IPSec tunnel, preferably utilizing Palo Alto Virtual Firewall VM-100 or an equivalent, to ensure secure, encrypted integration with their private virtual data center infrastructure. To comply with E-Rate rules and USAC classifications, vendors must provide separate quotes for these services under both Category 1 and Category 2. All proposals must adhere to FCC Lowest Corresponding Price rules and security regulations prohibiting equipment from covered companies such as Huawei and ZTE.
