2026 AO Conference and Expo CART services

Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD) will hold the Accessible Ohio (AO) Conference and Expo on August 13, 2026, at The Ohio State University’s Fawcett Center in Columbus, OH. To ensure the event is accessible and inclusive for Ohioans with disabilities, OOD will provide CART (Communication Access Real-Time Transcription) captioning as a key accommodation, supporting communication access in breakout sessions and keynote speech. Hourly rate for in-person or remote CART Captioners for a total of twenty-one (21) hours during the day of the Accessible Ohio Conference and Expo. Flat rate for Administrative fees. OOD’s preference is to award to a Contractor providing in-person CART captioning services.Note: Respondent is required to complete the item grid and submit a formal quote. There is an optional bidders conference available. Please see RFQ packet for details.

B) OOD will also base the award on the respondent that is responsive, responsible, and able to complete the work described in the summary. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 2:00 PM via Microsoft TEAMS. Questions and answers will be posted in OhioBuys after the question and answer session for Contractors who were unable to attend.
