2026 Connections High School and VoTech Center 470 Application; Cat 1 and Cat 2

Category 1: Connections High School and Vocational Center is a new school located at 1300 Old Congress Avenue. They are expected to open July 1st, 2026. The school would like quotes for 1+ connection for internet access, ranging in speed from 1Gbps to 2+Gbps or equivalent. Please provide quotes for fiber or equivalent in addition to whatever other options you can offer within this range.
Please include quotes for whatever contract lengths/options you can offer.
Please include any installation/configuration and/or special construction/build-out costs as well as quotes for any network components that are necessary to deliver your service that will be billed separately.
As per E-Rate rules, all equivalent solutions will be accepted and evaluated.

Category 2: Connections High School and Vocational Center is a new school located at 1300 Old Congress Avenue. They are expected to open July 1st, 2026. The school would like quotes for:
2+ Firewalls; (preferably Ubiquiti UDM-Pro, Dream Machine Pro or equivalent) and all related components including any software or licenses. We are including these both as a Router and Firewall in the drop-downs to account for where USAC may classify then.
10+ Wireless Access Points; (preferably Ubiquiti U7-LR or equivalent) and all related components including any software or licenses . These WAPs are all new. Please see cabling details below.
2+ Switches; (preferably Ubiquiti USW-Pro or equivalent) and all related components including any software or licenses.
1+ Rack; (preferably Penn-Elcom R8500-24, 24 Flat Pack Rack with 10/32 Threaded Rails or equivalent) and all related components.
2+ Uninterruptable Power Supply/Battery Backup and Necessary Software and Licenses; (preferably APC SMC1500C Smart UPS C1500VA LCD 120V or equivalent) and all related components.
2800+ Feet of cabling; (preferably Cat6 or equivalent) and all related components. The school would like 14+ single drops for data and wireless access points on the 1st and 2nd floor of the building. It is estimated that each run will be approximately 200 feet with a total of 14 runs which equals approx. 2800 feet. There are drop ceilings which will be switched to concrete deck roof. The ceiling height for the 1st floor is approx. 12 feet and the ceiling height for the 2nd floor is approx. 8 feet. No lift is required. Both the hallways and the classrooms are drywall. Drilling through concrete and drywall will be involved. There is existing conduit in place. No runs are being requested that go underground in conduit. Cables need to be terminated at connection point with RJ45C connector or equivalent. No existing cables need to be removed.
