2026 LRA Traffic Signal Replacement

The City of Gray, Georgia, is soliciting competitive sealed proposals for the replacement of traffic signals at the intersection of West Clinton St. and Washburn Dr. The scope of work requires a qualified contractor to provide all labor, equipment, and materials to install ten vertical three-face traffic signals, two vertical four-face traffic signals, a complete municipal cabinet, and four hundred feet of spanner wire. All asphaltic pavement work must adhere to Georgia Department of Transportation Standard specifications, specifically Articles 802, 820, 828, 882, and 883. This project is designated as urgent and must be completed within thirty working days following the Notice to Proceed and approval of shop drawings. Funding for the project is provided through the Local Maintenance Improvement Grant from the Georgia Department of Transportation. Award decisions will be based on a weighted evaluation of cost (60 percent), the proposed start date and duration of work (20 percent), and experience with similar projects (20 percent). Proposers must provide a list of at least five similar projects completed within the last seven years, along with a contractor's license, utility manager's certification, and various affidavits, including Noncollusion, SAVE, and Statutory affidavits. Sealed proposals are due by November 16, 2026, at 4:30 PM at Gray City Hall. Final payment is contingent upon the completion of all work and the execution of the required Statutory Affidavit.
