2026 SEWER EXCACVATION POINT REPAIR PROJECT

The 2026 Sewer Excavation Point Repair Project for the Mt. Olympus Improvement District involves excavation and point repairs at nine distinct locations within the district’s service area, which includes Holladay City, Millcreek City, and the southern portion of South Salt Lake City. The scope encompasses mobilization, bypass pumping, permitting, traffic control, and full restoration of all damaged infrastructure including curb and gutter, sidewalks, concrete waterways, driveways, landscaping, park strips, irrigation systems, fences, signs, and bollards. Work must comply with the State of Utah Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction and include installation of SDR 35 piping, shielded Fernco couplings, pipe bedding with 3/4" minus gravel, and precast reinforced concrete manholes meeting ASTM C 478. Materials must meet strict standards including ASTM D 3282 for pipe zone material, ASTM C 1329 for grout, and CLASS 4000 concrete per APWA standards, with all trenching conforming to APWA 31 23 16, OSHA, and UOSH safety requirements. The contract is a unit price arrangement where payment will be based on actual installed quantities, with no fixed total estimated value.
