2027 Water Treatment Chemical Supply Tender

The City of Weyburn is soliciting bids for the 2027 Water Treatment Chemical Supply Tender (WTP-2027-01) to secure the supply and delivery of essential potable water treatment chemicals. The scope includes Aluminum Sulfate solution, Ammonium sulfate, Chlorine gas, Hydrofluorosilicic acid, Polymer, Potassium Permanganate, Sodium hydroxide, and Sodium Hypochlorite. All products must be approved for potable water service under NSF/ANSI 60 and comply with the most recent applicable AWWA specifications. Key quantity requirements include up to 700 tonnes of Aluminum Sulphate, 300 bags of Ammonium Sulfate, 24 Chlorine tonners, 20 barrels of Hydrofluorosilicic acid, 12 bags of Polymer, and 250 pails of Potassium Permanganate. Bidders must provide non-conditional pricing per item, excluding GST and PST, and include the brand name, country of origin, and required lead times for delivery. Strict quality and safety standards are in place, including the requirement for Sodium Hydroxide to be delivered in temperature-controlled containers maintained above 15 degrees Celsius. The City of Weyburn reserves the right to reject shipments with damaged packaging, missing seals, or those that fail quality assurance testing. Deliveries must be scheduled 24 hours in advance. The contract requires adherence to Occupational Health and Safety and Workers Compensation Board standards, and the successful contractor must provide proof of insurance prior to execution.
