The California Department of General Services, Facilities Management Division, is soliciting bids for boiler maintenance and repair services at the Justice Joseph A. Rattigan State Building (#480) in Santa Rosa, California. The anticipated contract term is 36 months and encompasses three primary functional areas: preventive maintenance, testing, and technical support services. The scope includes foreseeable repairs, such as replacing main burners and vent systems, as well as unforeseeable repairs to ensure equipment remains fully operational. The contractor is required to respond to repair requests within one business day and must perform all work in accordance with the California Building Standards Code. Award will be granted to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with preferences applied for California Small Businesses and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises, the latter of which has a 3 percent participation goal. To be eligible, contractors must maintain a valid Class C-4 Boiler, Hot Water Heating and Steam Fitting Contractors license and be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations.
