Encrypted Bids will be accepted on the Bid Express site until 11 a.m., local time, on Thursday, November 12, 2026, and then publicly opened and read aloud via Microsoft Teams meeting at the City of Zeeland, 21 South Elm Street, Zeeland, Michigan 49464.
Bids will be on the basis of unit prices as listed on the Bid Form, and may only be submitted using the e bidding system.
The approximate quantities of major items of work are as follows: 5,800 Syd Aggregate Base, 8 inch, 21AA 540 Ft Sewer, 18 inch, In Stone Trench 2,800 Ft Curb and Gutter, Conc, Det F4, Modified Manholes, Catch Basins, Restoration, and all appurtenant work.

Only Bidders who have been prequalified by the City of Zeeland within the required days in advance of the bid opening in accordance with the Information for Bidders section will have their bids opened and read.
Plans and Specifications will be available after 1 p.m. on October 27, 2026, at M+B Bid Express (https://www.bidexpress.com/businesses/34301/home?agency=true) or the office of Moore & Bruggink, Inc., upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $90.00. An additional non-refundable fee of $25.00 will be charged if the Contractor requests these Documents be mailed.
This project will be entirely funded by the City of Zeeland; no federal or state grants are involved.
All Proposals shall be made in accordance with the Bidding Documents.
A Proposal Guarantee payable to the City of Zeeland, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, must accompany the Proposal in accordance with the Information for Bidders.
The right is reserved by the City of Zeeland to accept any Proposal, reject any or all Proposals, and to waive informalities in bidding when it is deemed to be in the interest of the City of Zeeland.
