Jackson County 2526-25 Blue Springs Road Sewer Extension Phase 3A ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS SEALED BIDS for ITB NO: 2526-25 Blue Springs Sewer Phase 3A will be received and accepted by the BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF JACKSON COUNTY, FLORIDA at the Purchasing Department 2864 Madison Street, Marianna, FL 32448 up until 2:00 pm (CDT) Tuesday, 09/01/2026. Sealed submittals must include one (1) original and (1) copy, along with an electronic copy on a USB flash drive. Bids shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the title of the work, the name of the bidder and the date for opening. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to ensure that the bid is received on time. Bids will be publicly opened immediately following the deadline. Each bid shall be valid to Jackson County for a period of ninety (90) days after the bid opening. Electronic Bids may be submitted at Central Bidding (www.centralbidding.com). Special Accommodation: Any person requiring a special accommodation at a Pre-Bid Conference or Bid opening because of a disability should call the Purchasing Department at (850) 482-9633 at least five (5) workdays prior to the Pre-Bid Conference or Bid opening. The project consists of approximately 4117 LF of 8” PVC gravity sewer main, 13 associated manholes, 35 gravity sewer or low pressure sewer services, 5296 LF of 6” PVC force main, 8 valves, 2 air/vac valves, 1 new lift station, and roadway/driveway directional bores within the right-of-way. On lot services will consist of 2750 LF of 1 ½” HDPE low pressure sewer services and 2500 LF of 4” PVC gravity sewer services. There are estimated to be 21 residential service connections which include a gravity or low pressure sewer connection to the existing residence, abandonment of the existing septic tank, septic tank disconnections, and site restoration. PROSECUTION AND PROGRESS - PROSECUTION OF WORK - BEGINNING WORK (FLEXIBLE START TIME). For this Contract, a period of 120 calendar days, will be allowed after the Notice to Proceed is issued. This period allows time for the Contractor to adjust work forces, equipment, schedules, and the procurement of materials, to proceed in a manner to minimize disruption to the public. Charging of Contract Time will begin when this time period ends or on the actual day that work begins at the site, whichever is the earlier.
