Solicitation # SPE4A6-27-T-8002
Solicitation SPE4A6-27-T-8002 is a small business set-aside request for quotation issued by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Weapons Support ASC Commodities Division for the procurement of five threaded end rods (NSN 5306-01-293-0932) used on nose landing position indicators. The requirement specifies a delivery date of October 6, 2026, with shipment to the Net Retail Warehouse in Amberley, Australia, under regular FOB Origin terms. The procurement incorporates strict quality and technical standards, requiring manufacturer inspection systems to comply with SAE AS9003 or ISO 9001 and utilizing zero-based sampling plans per MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331. The contract includes significant regulatory and security requirements, including CMMC Level 2 certification and adherence to DFARS 252.204-7012 for safeguarding covered defense information. Technical data is subject to ITAR or EAR export controls, restricting distribution to approved DLA contractors with US/Canada Joint Certification Program certification. Packaging and marking must adhere to RP001, MIL-STD-129, and MIL-STD-130H. Administrative requirements mandate the use of the Wide Area WorkFlow (WAWF) system for invoicing and payment. Additionally, the solicitation provides a price evaluation preference for HUBZone small business concerns and prohibits the use of additive manufacturing for the produced items.

Solicitation SPE7LX19R0096 is an unrestricted, full and open competition for the acquisition of NSN 2530-01-578-6276 under NAICS code 336390. The government anticipates an Indefinite Quantity Long-Term Contract featuring a three year base period with two one year options. Award decisions will be based on a combination of price, past performance, and delivery. The requirement is for FOB Origin with First Destination Transportation, and the government is not utilizing commercial item acquisition policies for this procurement. Amendment 0001 updated the item requirement from an approved CAGE and part number to a drawing item. Because the technical data is subject to ITAR or EAR export controls, contractors must utilize the DLA Joint Certification Program for access and validation. While the government does not possess a technical data package for review, vendors submitting alternate offers are required to provide a complete technical data package or source approval request with their proposal.
