The Ionia County Road Department is soliciting bids for the supply of plastic pipe materials for the period of October 21, 2026, through October 20, 2027. The scope of work includes furnishing M-292 Type S Smooth Interior Polyethylene Pipe in diameters from 4 to 60 inches, Single Wall Polyethylene Corrugated Pipe in diameters from 4 to 8 inches, catch basin lids in 12 and 15 inches, and culvert tees in 12, 15, and 18 inches. All materials must meet or exceed the specifications established by the Ionia County Road Department and the Michigan Department of Transportation, and the contractor must certify this compliance. Bids must be submitted electronically via Bid Express by 1:00 p.m. on October 20, 2026. Pricing must be provided per foot using the official bid sheet and must remain firm for one year, with an option for the contractor to extend the same pricing for up to four additional one-year periods. All deliveries are to be F.O.B. Ionia County, Michigan, delivered to road department garages or other designated county locations within 30 days of an order. The agency reserves the right to award the contract to the bidder deemed most advantageous to the county.
