This contract involves the procurement of 20 fuel injection pump units, identified by NSN 7H-2910-003440933, to be delivered to two different locations: W25G1U at DLA Distribution in New Cumberland, PA, and W62G2T at DLA Distribution in San Joaquin, CA. The pumps are designated with the TDP version 004 and are associated with the NIIN 7H-2910-003440933 and part number 16611148. The primary purpose of this contract is to repair these fuel injection pumps, with the sole source being FAIRBANKS MORSE LLC, the original equipment manufacturer, as no alternative sources possess the necessary data or rights to perform repairs. The government’s intent is to negotiate exclusively with this OEM under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), and any other capable firms must submit a capability statement or proposal within 15 days for consideration. The contract duration is set for one year, with procurement procedures following FAR Part 15, and it will incorporate Buy American clauses and UID requirements. The solicitation is scheduled to be issued around September 11, 2025, with responses due by October 10, 2025, and an anticipated award date of October 24, 2025. This is not a small business set-aside, and electronic submission is required via NECO. Interested parties can contact the contracting officer, Taylor Weidman, via email for further information. The procurement aims to ensure the repair and support of critical fuel injection components for military systems, emphasizing sole-source justification due to the OEM’s exclusive rights and data rights restrictions.
