Wiring HarnessThe United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center is soliciting quotations for two types of wiring harnesses used on Cummins diesel generators. The first item is an engine control panel wire harness (non-branched) for the QSM11-DM model, with a quantity of 15 units. The second item is a branched wiring harness for Cummins diesel engines used in fast response cutters, with a quantity of 8 units. Both items must be individually packaged according to strict military packaging standards (MIL-STD-2073-1E), with specific cushioning, boxing, and marking requirements, including barcoding per MIL-STD-129R and ISO/IEC symbology. Standard commercial packaging is unacceptable, and vendors unable to meet these packaging requirements will have their quotes rejected. Packaging may be subcontracted to third parties if necessary, but added costs must be included in the quotation. This solicitation is a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 333618 and will be awarded as a Firm Fixed Price contract using simplified acquisition procedures. Quotes must be submitted by June 19, 2026, with delivery FOB destination to the Coast Guard’s Surface Forces Logistics Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Award will be made on an all-or-none basis to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. Vendors must be registered in SAM and provide a valid DUNS number and tax identification. The solicitation includes standard FAR clauses related to contracting, compliance, prohibitions on foreign corporate structures, and small business preferences. This announcement serves as the sole solicitation notice, and no formal written solicitation will follow.

REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) / SOURCES SOUGHTThe United States Coast Guard is conducting a Request for Information (RFI) as part of market research to support the full repower of a 36-foot Arctic Landing Craft at their Industrial Production Facility in Ketchikan, Alaska. The government seeks input on the draft Statement of Work regarding the procurement and delivery of twin Volvo Penta D4 diesel engines (270 HP), DPI transmissions, Electronic Vessel Control kits, and all necessary ancillary hardware to ensure a fully functional propulsion system. All parts must be new and sourced directly from the original equipment manufacturer or an authorized distributor, with delivery required by September 1, 2026. This RFI does not constitute a contract or commitment to award but signals the government's intent to issue a solicitation within approximately 30 days. Interested vendors are asked to provide feedback on the clarity and accuracy of the requirements, completeness of the system components, feasibility of the delivery schedule, their status as authorized OEM distributors, and their socioeconomic classifications. Additional comments regarding technical requirements, shipping logistics to Alaska, and part conditions are also requested. Responses should be submitted electronically in PDF or Word format by June 26, 2026, and be limited to five pages. The points of contact for this notice are the Contracting Officer, Benjamin Reedy, and Naval Engineering Officer, Tai Chan, both affiliated with the Department of Homeland Security’s Base in Ketchikan, Alaska.

29--SENSOR,DIFFERENTIALThis contract involves the procurement of six units of a differential sensor (NSN 0Q-2990-014638955-CL) intended for use by the Department of Defense, specifically under the Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS). The delivery terms are FOB origin, and the item is flight critical, necessitating government source approval prior to award because adequate technical data is either unavailable or insufficient to support a full and open competition. The government does not possess the rights to the technical data required for repair or alternative sourcing, and efforts to acquire these or to reverse engineer the part have been deemed economically unfeasible. Only previously approved sources have been solicited to supply this item, and proposals from other potential sources must include detailed technical data demonstrating experience with similar items or documentation evidencing pending source approval. The solicitation is a presolicitation notice issued under FAR 6.302-1, indicating a sole-source procurement approach while still inviting all responsible sources to express interest or capability within 45 days, or 30 days if under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement. Offers lacking the required source approval data will not be considered. Due to the critical nature of the item and the lengthy approval process for new sources, awards may proceed without new source approvals to meet operational timelines. The contracting office managing this solicitation is located in Philadelphia, PA, with a designated point of contact available for inquiries. This action is aligned with fleet support needs and emphasizes the government’s intent to maintain continuity in sourcing this specialized, critical component.
