This contract amendment clarifies that government-furnished drawings will not be provided with the solicitation and resolves a discrepancy regarding the solicitation number, confirming that FA810404R55127 and FA8104-04-R-0038 refer to the same requirement. The procurement is for 67 Nickel Alloy Spray Ring Assemblies, Segment I, designed to distribute and atomize fuel flow for F100, 200, and 220 engines. These components are to be delivered to Tinker AFB, OK, by December 2004. The requirement will be fulfilled via a firm-fixed price buy and requires the submission of a first article based on solicitation criteria. To be eligible for award, offerors must be approved sources, and the government encourages the early submission of Source Approval Requests. An ombudsman has been appointed to handle contractor concerns during the proposal phase, though this individual does not participate in the evaluation or selection process.
