This is a firm fixed price IDIQ contract for the procurement of new manufactured material, specifically Spraybar Main After components for J85 engines. The contract spans a three year basic period with no options, targeting a total quantity of 250 units for the first year, with subsequent deliveries planned for years two and three. Deliveries are intended for the DLA Distribution Depot Oklahoma, with a desired delivery rate of 100 units per month starting in May 2014. Due to the high complexity and criticality of the parts, the government is limiting solicitation to a small number of approved sources that have completed specific design testing, as the items are not suitable for reverse engineering and technical data is unavailable. Current qualified sources include General Electric Corporation and Delavan Inc. The acquisition is subject to the Buy American Act and Free Trade Agreements, and the government has determined that the requirements can only be satisfied by a limited number of responsible sources.
