AI Contract Overview
The Department of Defense is seeking a firm-fixed-price contract for the reconfiguration of Haworth demountable walls at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska. This project is intended as a 100% total small business set-aside and is currently planned as a sole source award to Encompass Corporation. The work involves extensive modifications to the 2WS and 557WW areas, including the disassembly, relocation, and installation of wall panels to create new offices, merge existing rooms into open-concept spaces, and restore other areas to open-plan layouts. Key deliverables include the installation of four 40-inch demountable door panels and the reconfiguration of several specific rooms, such as L421, L422, and L423, using a combination of new and salvaged materials. While the contractor is responsible for the structural wall and door work, HVAC air transfer grille installations will be handled by the government. The award is expected to be finalized prior to September 30, 2026, under simplified acquisition procedures.
