THIS A PRELIMINARY MARKET RESEARCH: NOTICE TO INTERESTED PARTIES/SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE: This is a Sources Sought notice; there is no solicitation available at this time. Requests for solicitation will receive no response. This Sources Sought notice is published for market research purposes only. This market survey is conducted to identify potential sources capable of meeting the requirements for providing two enclosed trailers. The product specifications are listed below for better understanding of the needs of Aviano AB and the respondent's potential ability to meet the Government's requirements. DETAILS: All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be awarded a DoD contract. The National American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this action is 336214 - Travel Trailer and Camper Manufacturing. Vendor must be able to provide two enclosed trailers, to meet the specifications below: Minimum requirements: EncIosed Trailers Quantity: 2 Characteristics: 1. Trailer must not have a classification of construction, mining, excavating, or highway maintenance equipment. 2. Shall have no more than two axles. 3. Must not exceed 3174 kg or 6999 lbs Gross Vehicle Weight. 4. Will have to be an enclosed trailer to protect internals from the external environments. 5. Shall have a V-nose with universal Ball connector. 6. External dimensions must be no larger than 7915mm (311.61 inches) in length from Ball connector to rear; 2510mm (98.8 inches) in width; 2740mm (107.8 inches) 7. Must have a front-end trailer jack/stabilizer. 8. Shipping to APO (or through a Consolidation Point) or Physical Overseas address to Italy is required. 9. 2 identical trailers are required. 10. All interested parties shall submit a capabilities package. The capabilities package shall be brief and concise, yet clearly demonstrate an ability to meet the stated requirements. The package shall include not only capability, but also a summarized plan of how the capabilities will be met.
